Grace Period from Absolute Instrument Coll. 1 Edu?

Hi,

I have the possibility to still buy the "Steinberg Absolute Instrument Coll. Edu" (=Absolute 1?) in autentic packaging/not activated.Would that qualify for the grace period update to Absolute 3?Absolute 1 -> Grace Period -> Absolute 2 -> Grace Period -> Absolute 3?

Any help will be apprecited.
